Who we are

Praxis Tech provides Roblox operations and web-development services. For the personal information described in this notice, Praxis Tech is the controller. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@praxistech.uk.

Information we collect

Information you send us

When you contact us by email or Discord, we may receive your name, email address or username, organisation or studio, project details, Roblox experience links and metrics, budgets or timelines you choose to share, and the contents of your message.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request timestamps, requested URLs and diagnostic or security logs needed to deliver and protect the website.

Public Roblox information

The portfolio uses public Roblox information such as experience names, icons, visits, current players, peak player counts and group membership. We do not use this data to profile individual players.

Please do not send sensitive personal information

We do not need health, financial-account, identity-document or other special-category information for an initial enquiry.

How and why we use information

Responding to enquiries

To understand your request, reply, scope work and take steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

Basis: steps before a contract and legitimate interests
Managing relationships

To keep relevant records, coordinate conversations and provide agreed services.

Basis: contract and legitimate interests
Running the website

To deliver pages, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and maintain security.

Basis: legitimate interests
Legal and business administration

To maintain appropriate records and respond to lawful requests or disputes.

Basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests

Our legitimate interests are operating and protecting the business, responding to genuine commercial enquiries and improving how we deliver our services. We do not currently use enquiry data for automated decision-making or behavioural advertising.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is necessary with hosting and security providers such as Cloudflare, email and communications providers, professional advisers, project collaborators where relevant, and public authorities where the law requires it. If you choose to contact us through Discord, Discord processes that communication under its own privacy terms.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on an adequacy regulation or appropriate contractual safeguards supplied by the relevant provider.

How long we keep information

We generally keep unsuccessful or inactive enquiry records for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If work proceeds, relevant correspondence and records may be kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards where needed for tax, accounting, contractual or legal purposes. Security and request logs are retained according to the settings and schedules of our infrastructure providers.

We may delete information sooner when it is no longer useful, or keep it longer when a legal claim, safeguarding issue or statutory duty requires it.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are not absolute and the applicable right can depend on our lawful basis.

You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at hello@praxistech.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and browser storage

The site does not currently use advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies. When you choose Light or Dark mode, the site stores a first-party value named praxis-theme in your browser’s local storage so it can remember that choice. It contains only the selected theme and remains until you change it or clear site data in your browser.

Our infrastructure provider may use strictly necessary technologies for security, load balancing and reliable delivery. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies later, this notice and the site’s consent controls will be updated first.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when the site, services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@praxistech.uk.
